Once again, I am incredibly proud to be a mentor and investor in the Future Female Leaders Program. Myself & a group of fellow female business leaders will support young women aged 15-17 through expansive leadership training underpinned by their choice of one of the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s). I’m sure I speak for all of the mentors when I say that I can’t wait to see what social projects emerge and the changes we can make when we truly support each other.
This program was founded by Claire Seeber, Karen Dennett & Emma Burdett who are all incredibly talented growth facilitators ready to make change.
Over the next 6 months, the mentees will develop a social project around one of the UN’s 17 SDG’s and learn critical leadership and confidence skills as they navigate various challenges. They will be required to dig deep and learn about themselves, how to lead, how to market, how to resolve conflicts, pivot or push forward in the face of challenges. Many of the mentees have big future business goals and I only wish that I had something like this when I was young. It took me more trial and error than I care to admit to find stability in who I was and how to create businesses.
Personally, I cannot wait to see the growth in these young leaders over the next 6 months and more importantly, I can’t wait to celebrate their success along the way!
